"One in a Million" started with Siri Baggerman finding out that she doesn't have a postcode. Apart from being pushed to the edges of society by having her access to mail and many other services removed, the most unsettling thing about this was that she had been playing the postcode lottery and now found out that she was never even given a chance to win. In the UK the word "postcode lottery" refers to unequal distribution of public services or random differences in prices depending on the area where you live. Siri's situation seemed something beyond postcode lottery.
