The Announcer, 20075:40 video
An elderly woman pushes the limits of customer service at an up-market department store by continuously requesting announcements for interesting-looking men. In order to try and establish a connection with handsome strangers, the woman convinces a reluctant customer service employee to go beyond her job description. She is unable to turn down her request, as the woman embarrasses herself so publicly, sharing too much by bringing what should be kept private into the open. Here she balances between the tragic, lonely lady and the smart, resourceful woman who bends the rules to get what she wants.
